Title: Bushwacker Wide Body fender kit
Post by: yellow2000S/R on April 25, 2010, 12:58:46 PM
SO... how many people have these? How much did they cost? Available anywhere anymore?

I was thinking about cutting the stock steel "flares" up the center of the arch and across the top front to back then stretching them wider and adding like 2" between the vertical and then whatever across the top to get the width to retain an "oem" look instead of bolted on flares. I was searching around and found this "widebody fender kit".

There is a guy in the UK making them in fibreglass. They are around 300 UK pounds + shipping.

Agreed. I'll stick to cutting my metal and adding some and rust preventing/priming/painting.

They have have been talked about and some prototypes made but they haven't gone into production yet.
