Title: removing rust/lime from rad

It's mostly rust in the block and mostly lime in my rad.  What's a good stuff to clean it out?

clr?? in the comercials they say it gets all kinds of rust and lime build up off bath tub crap..dont see why it wouldnt work for a car

I am not 100% but I think CLR will damage the Aluminium in the Rad.

I'm going to change my rad coolant next Sunday.  There has to be plenty of cleaning fluids at the local parts stores.

There you go. :)  Is Prestone pretty much the best stuff to use for coolant?  I can't thik of any other brand off the top of my head as far as that stuff goes.  ???

Remove the thermostat and back flush
the engine and radiator, water does in the top
and comes out the bottom, that should free the
engine of rust, then remove the radiator and
flush it from the bottom
