Little pricy...

that price must be a typo unless they install and wash your car for free
-
no matter how many times I see that price I do not see $429 value there unless 429.99 is installed and the clamps are stainless....and the snorkel is made from some sort of extremely hardened super tough plastic with a lifetime warranty .... it just looks like garbage parts to me....................................

Quick search for other makes w/snorkles ... just some food for thought.
Safari Snorkel for Toyota FJ Cruiser 4.0L '07-08 (LHD) by ARB Price: $489.00
Discovery Series II | '99 - '04 ARB Safari Snorkel Price: $472.95
Jeep Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK Volant Snorkel Kit with Cold Air Induction Kit Price: $706.99

Like Eric pointed out, that price is in line with others. Sure you can make a functional snorkel for a fraction of that, but that is true for a lot of things.
-
If you don't have enough money to be willing to trash your ride where a snorkle is actually needed, then ya"ll are right, its pricey, to you.
I think its cheap, if you ask me.
-
sorry but thats an airflow snorkel from Aus. it is made for other vehicles and not a GV so it does not fit well , does not follow the lines of the body and if the GV has abs it does not fit at all.

I still like that looks of the FTS one better and less $$$
