I am running a 1.6 16v out of a 1998 X90 in my 1987 Samurai. The ac system was converted over to R134 at the time of engine swap over a year ago.
I turned the ac on the other day to try it and it doesn't feel very cool.
How cool should this thing run at the vents ??
Thanks !

You have to put gauges on it to check for the right amount of R-134
The engine RPM and air flow will make a big difference in the output temp

Mine only gets " cool " while I'm moving along , at least somewhat forward. The thing never really got " cold." Sure beats sweating your ass off in the northeast heat and humidity in the summer though!

got it charged up and they put a dye in it to see if it has any leaks.
It got down to 52 degrees at the vents...alot better than what it was but not as cool as I wanted.
Now just gotta take it back in next week to see if it is leaking.
