I bet this has been asked a million times, BUT ......a Samurai with 3 inch lift and no triming, how big a tire well fit. and if the lift is increased to 5 inch ???????
many thanks ( -:

Mine with a SPOA fits 31s easy with back-spaced wheels. no trimming. could even fit 33s prolly ??? imo 31 is a good size tire for a samurai.
-
never seen a SPOA lift in person, what do you think the lift is ?
-
hey i was going to ask this question when i get to the point of buying tires, but will wider tires effect crawling at all? i have 33 10.5 but would like 33 12.5's let me know thanks

5" lift with no trimmings 31" tires are probably the best you will be able to do.
Wider tires affect crawling quite a bit as your weight is spread out more. They also tend to air down a bit better due to larger tread pattern. They are also heavier depending on what brand you use.

i got a deal off craigs list for 15 x 8 CJ wheels, they came with 31 x 10.50's so after i get the lift on I was hoping the front tires well work, right now the rear tires work great, not so much in the front if i need to turn (-;
just dont wanna go any higher than I need for 31 's

haha i mean crawling slow. I know they are better but how much 4Lo will i lose?
-
Send pics of what she looks like with the 31's on. :D
When you say 4 low you mean how much power will you loose? I wouldn't think much more then vs the 10.5 width...

my spoa is prolly about 5" or 5.5" around in there
