Title: Scheduled Down Time
Post by: Crabzuki on July 09, 2004, 04:55:09 AM
Well it's here I got my new Reynolds Suzuki engine on steroids and have scheduled wednesday the forteen in my shop for the installation date. I also have a new distributor recurved by Reynolds and will be taking plenty of pictures of the whole proceedure of yanking out the one year old and replacing it with the new heavily modded 1.6 8V .   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D after which I'm entertaining the idea of putting the NOS back in it...humm decisions, decisions.

whoo!  my Small Block Mitsu rebuild for my eclipse only cost about 1500 bucks in parts(had bad crank, connecting rods) and other costs.  of corse we put it all to togather here in our shop so their was no labor cost.  but 4 G's for a rebuilt 1.6L engine is crazy.  you can buy a ZZ502 Chebby fully assembled crate engine for 7,459.95.  it makes 502 horse on pump gas.  or for one more example, crate ZZ4 350 has 355 HP for only 3,895.95.  but thats with out carb or plug wires.

I'm not complaining about the cost heck I could have gotten better I'm sure but you just have to be in my shoes. I have a MAJOR EVIL SEED planted and I wanted my ride to be the absolute best I can get even if it's a pavement princess I want it to be 100% Suzuki and I didn't want a GV V6, I just love that 8V motor, I just can't explain it. Evil Seed blood is coursing through my veins. Maybe I'm moowie-loco and hell's gates are opened for me, I dunno.  ;D  ;D  ;D 'LET THE SEED GROW.'
