A friend of mine put a Ford 302 out of a Mustang into his CJ-7.. after 2-3 trail rides he pulled it and went back to his built I-6 jeep motor... He did not like not being able to lug down the motor when crawling (like with the I-6) and needing to be up in the RPM to get performance...

I have seen posts from people putting V-8's in Zuk's but it takes allot of custom work, cutting and fitting (my Zuk V-6 barely fits in the Kick). The only V-8 sami I have ever seen in person had serious over heating problems.

HTH,
Zig

that is intense.  I asked just to see what everyone thought about it. i may be acquiring a 88 chevy lwb pickup.  which, excuse my ignorance, would make it a 305 small block. anyhow i figured id ask to see how difficult it would really be. the chevy is only two wheel drive , hence i thought about a swap.
