I am 4 linking my samurai right now. Was getting ready to order some 14" 175lb QA1 springs when my friend called me and said he just lifted his jeep and has a set of stock coils that i could have. You guys think they would be to much as far as spring weight for it? I am running yoda axles and probably gonna end up having a mercedes turbo diesel in it..

i linked my samy years ago and used cherokee coils. 6 cyl springs in frnt and 4 cyl in rear. worked great and cheap. could lift frint tire 44 inches with forklift before lifting others off ground. front springs were outboard of frame(like a ford ranger) and rears weredirectly under frame ahead of axle and mounted to lower link. used stock front sway bar on street.

My buddy used stock 6 cylinder Cherokee coils in the rear of his Sammy. Ride super nice and flexes like mad.

The only issue with the stock TJ coils is that they are much wider in the front. They have the same top and bottom size at 3.5" (I believe) but the body of the coil is much wider. That is why I stuck to the Tracker rears when doing the back of mine.
