I have noticed that a lot of shifter boots and the console around them look like crap on body lifted vehicles. Soluition. (I have 4 inch body lift, trust me)
t-case shifter - 96 and newer tracker t-case shifter boot. needs new mounting screw holes
manual shifter. you will probably (already have ) cut some more metal away to get full motion from your shifter. now the mid to late 80s 2wd chevy s10/s15 manual shifer has a large leather looking rubber boot, with some removable steel retainig brackets. Was exactly what I was looking for.

I like the look of the Nissan 240 sx lower boot, not the dreesed up leather cover but the actual rubber boot.
I have not tried it in place yet, But I did bring one home.

All my boots fit perfect, except for the upper Tranny shifter. Its a bit too tight when you shift into 2nd-4th-or Rev, besides that everything fits like stock, because I extended the shifters from the bottom. ;D

Moroso Manufactures a rubber boot with a chromed steel mounting plate. Just my two cents worth. 8)

Hrm... I got both shifters to work with the boots like stock (still feel a bit different than stock, though) :-/
