Title: new engine or rebuild the one I have

alright folks, 

I have a 97 sport with the 1.8 in it.  I have 210,000 miles on it and want to refresh it.  I was thinking of rebuilding it but I am starting to get cold feet about being able to do that on my own in a timly fashion (its my daily driver)  so I have been thinking of buying a rebuilt to through in it.  so any opions?  any good places to buy engines? I am not againist upgrading to the 2.0 if it doesn't cost more and gives me a little more pulling power.  I will have some down time in jan when i get home to rebuild it but like I said I am worried about being able to pull it off.  anyway thanks for your input.

I think you can swap in all the way up to a 2.3 with that setup.  I know a 2.0 from a Tracker will drop in if you use your old electronics.
