probably a stupid question but what do i need to do a spring over on a 92 samy i just wanna use my stock springs for now if thats possible. do i need to buy new u bolts etc?
-
check out lowrange offroad.com under suspension kits. you can use your stock springs without problem. probably not a bad idea to talk to the lowrange staff to get an idea of what issues you may encounter.

in order to do a spoa swap, you need, perches, longer ubolts, maybe shocks, it all depends on what you will be doing with your ZUK after it's swapped, maybe longer brake lines, but that's not always required, there is a few things not listed. something done about your steering linkage is pretty much a must, wether it's a Z-link bar, or an OTT steering kit. there are different providers of these kits, I like www.lowrangeoffroad.com (http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com) and have dealt with them on Many Many parts, but there are others as well. look at the vendors that this site has to offer in the top of the page, it changes to a different vendor every time you change to a new page here on Zukiworld.com. like I said, there are many vendors, and most are very helpful, some are just there to take your money and not offer any help or advice, so... do some searching of the different vendors and decide, but as bobthebiker has stated, low range off road staff is VERY helpful before, and after a purchase of a product. ask for Sean!

Personally, I HIGHLY recommend Lowrange, just amazing service. probably the only place you'll call anymore and get a human on the phone instantly instead of going through 200000 recordings.

i looked into it they have quite a bit to choose from. i will definately give them a call when i get the money to start on this. im very new to this and was under the impression that a spring over was almost a free lift just swap some stuff around. thanks guys for the help.

It can be almost free, it all depends on how much fabrication and work you want to do on it. Here is a great write-up from khan_sultan on his SPOA conversion on an SJ-413:
