Title: Quick SAS Question
Post by: explosivo on June 03, 2005, 09:42:01 PM
For those who've done an SAS in a Trackick, what did you do about the rear A-arm mount? From what I can tell with lining everything up, it's going to be in the way of the driveshaft on articulation. Did anyone have an issue with this?

i've seen some sas conversions, and they actually cut out the cross member altogether. this leaves more room for links and driveshafts. a custom cross member was fabbed up for chassis stiffness.

Depends on the lift!
We took the Arm off, but left the cross member.
(We're too high off the ground to worry about that cross member.)

your running a kicker 3 too , that mite help by moveing the driveshaft back away from the crossmember , but id think its still pretty close, isnt it ?

You happen to have some pics of how you did your crossmember, mesjr2004?
