Title: time to build
Post by: gotzuk? on June 06, 2010, 03:51:45 PM
alright guys i need some help. Ive got a 1994 samurai with 3 inch body lift and 2 inch shackle lift. 31" tires and other than that its stock. Ive got $2000 to work with and i want to spend in wisely. Id like to do a yota axle swap and transfer case. Also a winch would be nice. Whats makes the transfer case out of a yota so much better than the stock sammi? thanks

It's generally considered to be stronger.  The problem with swapping it into the Sammy though is you loose your high range reduction.  So you will have a much harder time turning the larger tires.
