well i recently got a 95 Suzuki sidekick. its got the calmini 6 inch combo lift in it and i got some 235/75 on the stock 15" rims. well i decided to follow my buddy through some ATV trails. and long story short, the pinion mount broke. I've seen some pics of a setup to replace it that people built but does anyone sell a ready made one? these are the twos I've seen.

i like the first one but i don't think its something i could build my self. i should be able to manage the second one but the 1st one just looks stronger. thank you very much for any help.

The closest (sp?) to a premade unit is the Steel housing from an XL7 mated to a 4-pin (actually 3-pin but that's just me being anal :) ) Samurai third member housing. The XL7 housing is nominally the same casting only in Steel instead of aluminum and the Samurai steel third physically fits.

Nobody that I know of actually manufactures a component.

im actually looking to keep my stock aluminum hosuing and such for now and just put a ring around it to keep it there so it wont flop around. like those pictures? sorry if i wasnt clear. im new here and new to the off roading world. ;D

Are you sure that just the pinion mount itself broke? If so, I'd suggest just replacing it and see if the level of wheeling you're at is going to break stuff. Possibly it was already close to failure before you went wheeling?
If you're going to wheel 'fairly hard', ditch the aluminum and get the steel housings from the GV manual transmission or XL7... It's a bolt in for the Steel GV and very close to bolt in for the XL7. Also get the CV shafts from a 96 or newer Sidekick for it's 26 spline instead of 22... All of this is bolt on and will give you a lot more strength...

Several of us have done this, it only requires making a strap and " horse coller" type of bracket the surrounds the pinion end of the diff, and bolts to the mounting point on the stock mount, and the the frame above the control arm on the passenger side. There are several write ups about it in the "performance and modify" forum.
I've been running mine this way, with a front ARB air locker, for a few years now and it holds up fine. The object is to keep the diff from moving around at all. I also replaced my front diff hanger mounts with some I made, using much harder poly bushings. No movement at all.

Is possible repair it, but is not cheap, this guy broke 2 of them because the ARB, then repair and re-force with aluminum plate.

I make collars just like the first link you posted. I am making one for a customer next week let me know if you are interested and I will build you one at the same time.
