i just ordered one of these http://www.roadlessgear.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=RG130&Category_Code=A&Store_Code=RGL (http://www.roadlessgear.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=RG130&Category_Code=A&Store_Code=RGL)
my hood latch broke and my hood came up on a really windy day, smashed my windshield and bent my frame. i'm pretty sure i can straighten the frame close enough, and my hope is that it won't really mater with this windshield.
any thoughts?

Luc~~ Interesting question, wondering about this m'self . . . saw them advertised here for only $160, and thought
'why not' . . . but does seem could be badly scratched with that same type of accident, I wonder? Though maybe
also possible to buff out again instead of having smashed windshield? :) Hhhmmmmm

Mine works great, but it does take a bit to install them. I recommend having a friend to help. It hasn't scratched up yet, but I did have a new frame to put it in.
A club member has been running one for over two years now, no scratches at all. I'm not sure about putting it on a daily driver though, as both of us have trail only vehicles.

I had one in my DD trail rig, I highly recommend them! no scratches, I ran through trees, bush, and had tons of rocks hit it, I work n the oil field on a drilling rig, and there are always semis throwing rocks and gravel, well.... no chips, scratches, nothin!! it was easy to install, use a small rope, or twine, oil the new seal, and pull it into place! just like a back window of an old toyota or pick up truck. I rate it at a 9 on upgrades - 1 being lowest and 10 highest.
