Hey everybody so my SAS swap is still coming along, but i need advice on painting the following parts. Any input would be highly appreciated. Ill list the parts and the color i was thinking, if you like it say keep it, if you hate it or think of something different let me know.
To keep in mind my wheels are flat black, my rig is white, my interior is black with red harnesses, and the bottom half of doors is bedlined.
Here they are:
Leaf springs (color) Red
Axles (color) Black
Diffs (color) Red
Shock Hoops (color) Red
High Steer (color) Red
In addition, everything under the body is being bedlined black. I think this would look good, but i also think it may be to flashy. thanks for the help

Just keep it all black. Its only going to end up getting painted in MUD

X3 on the black, if you want to keep it looking good underneath, paint everything with something like rustoleum gloss black. The bedliner stuff is great until it gets dirty, then it stays dirty no matter how you try and clean it. A nice shiny paint is easy to clean, easy to touch up, and you can use a detail or tire spray to keep it clean and shiny. Believe me, I know about clean and shiney. BTW, if you do decide to paint everything underneath, be sure to cover the body with a cheap plastic drop cloth and tape it up good. Overspray seems to float everywhere! ;)

Don't spray paint, unless you plan on looking at it from 3 feet away or closer. i recommend using a brush to apply the paint. that will provide the greatest thickness of paint unless you use a spray gun to paint it. also no prepping needed for over spray. It will take 5 spray paint coats to equal one coat with a brush.

ok good to know, ya i used the brush on bedliner in the can and it held up way better than the rattle can stuff. Thanks for the input.

once again for black. the flat black would look great especially with the red harnesses as accents

haha, ok some of the red cans are going back, lol. ill try to paint some parts this friday. Thanks for the input.

I prefer the rattle can spray paintjob for my off-road truck. With a few cans in reserve, touch-ups after the trails are easy...
You can also do matching "accessories"

Axles are going to be bedlined black, the diffs will be red, shock hoops are black, leafs are black, calipers are red, and under body is black. haha scale of 1 to 10 what ya think, lol

Sounds good but just use black rustoleum. you wont be able to clean bed liner.
