Title: WTB: Used Calmini lift kit for '96 tracker 4dr
Post by: meach4x4 on June 24, 2010, 01:16:10 PM
I'm building a budget trail rig, and would like to buy a 2 or 3" Calmini lift.  Hopefully someone is ready to move up to a SAS setup and is ready to sell their Calmini lift in good functional condition.  Let me know.

Don't hold your breath for a used calmini lift. If you have the right resources and mechanical minded you don't really need it.

The articles about Hagan building the "rockstar" really helped me on my budget kit build. Here's a link.

So, from the Rockstar article it appears you cut your frame and lowered the front clip 6"?  Sounds like a bit more fab and lift than I have in mind.  I'm only going for 30" tires, and don't want any more lift than necessary to clear them.

if you want a budget build, just get the 2" coil spacers and 2" body lift.   that's what i run and don't rub 31's. then put a lock rite in the rear and it'll take you pretty much wherever you want to go.
