Post by: TNTracker on June 28, 2010, 06:33:40 AM
Is anyone running 31s with only 2" coil spacers if so how much rubbing. Would like to see a picture of one with this setup also if anyone has one. Almost forgot its a 93 Track/Kick. Thanks

Hey,

I am running 2" aluminum coil spacers and 31" X 10.5" X 15" tires.  I did no trimming in the rear and to be honest i trimmed the front fender too much.  The key seems to be the backspacing of the rim, I have 3.75" backspacing and it seems to be fine.

Looks good thanks for posting the pic. So you had no issue with rubbing in the front of the wheel well on the rear?

I've just put some 31's (7" rim with a P15 offset) on a swb with no lift. I've folded the seam flat in the back of the front wheelwell (retained the plastic liner), trimmed the front bumper and used some bumpstop spacers but I haven't fully tested it yet to be absolutely sure but so far it seems pretty good.

Interested in seeing this too.  If anyone has a pic of how 31's look on stock 15x5.5 rims, I want to see that.
How does the offset of Samurai rims compare to trackick rims?

Just to clarify, the rears are not rubbing.  My rims are 8" wide.

Im running 31x10.50s on 15x8 rims. Had to take off the front bumber and front fenders. And had to do a little cutting on the inner fender but it can be done. And ive tested mine to its fullest.
