Title: 92 Kick HIGH IDLE problem
Post by: WDoG on July 08, 2005, 08:33:08 AM
92 kick 4dr, 4x4, 16v, 5-spd.  Heres what happend, zuki would run good till it got to normal operating temp, then it would flood and run REALLY rich, took it to the dealership they couldnt find out what was wrong with it.  Turned out to be the computer.  Repaced it with a 93 kick computer, same exact stuff, just different year.  Not it idled high even before i got the new computer.  But not before the problem with the running rich.  Anyone have any ideas what my kick is idling at 2k????

Did the numbers on the ECUs match? Different ECUs use the same case.

Try playing with this, if you haven't already. It's your idle adjustment screw.
