Title: engine swap?

will this be anything close to a bolt in to a 87 samurai?  would i gain anything?

There are people that have used the 1.3 swift twin cam in a samurai before.  I don't remember the HP on the 1.3 TC.....but it makes for a very fast samurai.
Looks like there is some damage on the timing cover on that engine....I would be leary of spending $900 on it with damaged parts on it.  Hell, I'd be leary of spending $900 on it if there was no damage on it.
Oh, and you will also need all the engine wiring and ECM for it to work in your samurai.  Plus, you will have to do some wire cutting and splicing too.  I don't know the details, I just know it has to be done.
