Title: looking for help in Oregon / Washington
Post by: Soupy on July 08, 2010, 12:27:39 PM
I'm buying a 92 Sidekick 4wd 4dr with a bad headgasket. I've changed them on other vehicles. Is there anyone in the area that would like to do the job, with or without my help? I have a small garage to work in with just barely enough tools. If there is someone that would like to make some money, I'm willing to pay. If you have a welde, that would be great. After i get the motor running... that top is coming off. So some cutting and welding sheet metal would be nice. Of course, If I'm cutting the roof off, a rollbar wouldn't be the worst thing that ever happened. But my highest priority is the headgasket, the rest is optional and will come later.  Give me a shout if you are interested, or know someone that is.

If I end up doing this myself, are there any recommended online writeups of a head gasket change? I will be google searchin like a mad mofo

Thanks.
