Title: 5 speed trans question

whats up every one? just have a question about my trans i just put in a new clutch in my old trans mad so weird noises and was spitting out some gear oil. i had another trans siting there so i cleaned it up and put it in along with new clutch new fly wheel and bearings. so now every thing is working good shifts fine drives nice no grinding clutch is smooth. but 1st second third and 5 all make a wining noise only 4th is quiet. all fluids are full and new and i'm running 90 weight. what could it be

It sounds like bad bearings, mine makes a bit of noise as well in those gears.

Yep, bearings.
It will probably live for quite awhile with whining bearings, but if you have the chance to pick up another good tranny cheap, or are capable of rebuilding a tranny, then I would go that route.

The 5 speeds are very simple to work on.  You can re-build them with common hand tools, and a press.

A PRESS IS NOT NEEDED!!! just freeze the main shaft over night and boil the bearings for 5 min and it goes together like butter.
