Title: VW Rabbit diesel engine swap

I have a 1984 Rabbit diesel pickup that has been hit in the front end. I was told that this is a very cool engine swap for a Samurai. Has anyone heard of this? Is the VW tranny used or the Zuke tranny?

Google "diesel samurai swap" - you'll find more information than you know what to do with - stuff like this ...
