Hey all,
I am looking to add some rocker panel protection to my Tracker and am looking at these because of the cost and also they don't appear to reduce the clearance as much as some of the other designs available.
I am curious if any one is using these and what are you impressions of them? Do the attach to the frame and could they be attached with bolts rather than welding (not the best welder here!)? Are "nerf" type bars a better bet for protection? I do have 2" spacer kit (Jeff's) installed.
Any other thoughts, comments or suggestions?
Have a good weekend.

Here's a thread on DIY steel rockers. You won't lose any clearance that way.

They only work if you have a 3" body lift installed. MAYBE you could find a way around it, if you're up to fabricating different mounts, but if you're gonna go through that trouble, you should do what BRD HNTR did, they're much lower-profile and look great, IMO
BTW have fun with those Honda mini-trails. They're a blast ;D

Hey bush buster and dj,
Thanks for the link to that thread - thats just what I wanted to learn. I think that will become a project over the next month or so.
DJ - the little trail 70s are a hoot. ;D I currently have 6 ct70's, one sl 70 and two 50's. One Ct is a 100 pt resto, one 50 is currently being restored, the sl and and another ct are running and original. The others are future projects. But now the track-kick addiction is taking over the honda addiction ;).
Have a great day.
