So here's the deal. I just finished some work on her, I had to find and install new to me, but used, turn signals housings, that was easy. My hood was held on with a strap so i fixed it so that the hood is now properly operating latch and everything. I was backing it out of the car port alone, and because it is very tight and the walls around it are a weak brick it's a very exacting procedure, needlessly said I stalled while in reverse. Well I've stalled a million times, never before in this Sami so I go to start it up and nothing. It will roll over and over and over with nothing. If I apply gas and keep the key turned it will change the sound and begin to smoke. I even had it that I could release the key and keep my foot on the gas and have it keep going (very rough with smoking) as soon as I release it, it stops and I'm back to square one. I checked the oil its fine (which I changed a few weeks ago) I tried gas in the carb, to no avail. I honestly don't know what it could be, perhaps something to do with gas getting to the engine?
