Title: Click on accelerator. pedal ?
Post by: Racegun on July 30, 2010, 09:21:22 PM
We  have an annoying click on the accelerator pedal and or right side firewall when turning right at low speeds, it only clicks once.
This is an Aussie 2003 G V 2.5 and the pedals are on the right,
Anyone have any ideas thanks...?

Any ideas anyone , is there a solenoid connected to the throttle somehow or is something in the suspension/steering at fault , maybe a cv joint even , I can't find anything worn or loose ?

I've known this on other vehicles, so it may be worth mentioning:  The firewall has a dent in it, which causes it to flex under some conditions - sort of click-click.
