will you sell the winch and tcase seperate from the sami? Let me know, 818-825-3589, either way nice ride too bad you didn't like it.
-
not wanting to seperate, sorry guys. If I do decide to seperate and do a tear down, there will be some things I would keep i'm sure, like winch and bumper lol... but idk... rather just get rid of it and start out fresh and do it my way ya know...
-
Out of curiosity what don't you like about how it turned out?
-
well the 87 I got for 800 was all set up, but hammered. the 91 was a 2wd, so I converted it with the parts from the 87. I don't care for the RUF, it's too bouncy, there is just some issues I don't like about it, like the suspension choice from the previous owner, I don't like that the 87's flanges are different from the 91's, so I had to swap out this and that, it just don't feel like my last 87... the REAL blknight.... maybe I will never be happy with another zuk? idk... but it just isn't the same... :'( and it's upsetting, no matter what I do, it's just not my old sammy... RIP blknight.....
this is a 1.3 EFI, my other was a 1.6 8V running a cv carb from myron, I could turn my 35's |removethispart|@ 75mph down the highway, and it was sooooooo highway friendly, this one is more for a krawler, and I am a boulevard buggy kinda guy that isn't afraid to take it up the trails, but knows it's very capable on the streets... it's just not the same is all I guess... maybe I can find another, and start from the ground up again, and do what I did on the old 87... same things, same parts, and be happy that way.. ??? but that is down the road.... hope that helps..

for what its worth under that "tough black shell" on the rear driver quarter panel is pretty little hand painted minnie mouse. that alone is prolly worth a grand in and of itself.
matt, the ppl needed to know about it >:D :P

Awe too bad, I love 'ownership pride' displays like that on used vehicles. Lot's of character...

can I get a bump for the sale of my ride? lol... >:D
and yes Eric, you are right... but my pride comes with the stickers of the parts places I get my stuff from, windshield banners, all the parts down the sides of the vehicle, etc... you know what I mean right...
-
If you were closer I would be pretty tempted. That is a great deal for such a clean looking ride.
-
Its a sick rig! i have seen it in person and its pretty dang clean. And Matt does great wrench work, he knows his stuff so theres not alot of random dumb crap done to it
-
haha thanks bro! SOLD!!!
-
AWESOME!! you sell it to someone in GJ? or closer my way (fingers crossed)
-
haha actually he came up from Arizona to pick it up! drove like 13 hrs for her. he's a friend of Myron's the owner of ZOR.com (http://ZOR.com) and Zukes of Arizona. cool guy i guess, but he really wanted it so he got it haha...
-
thats awesome dude! glad to see it atleast went to someone who will use it, hopefully
-
oh he will! and... I just went and got me a new ride! it's not a zuk.... :( but... it is sweet! a nice new rig ride, and capable of off road! it's an 86 nissan 4X4 D21 model! picked it up for 400 bucks! runs like a champ, just needs a few things, a RH fender, a Front Bumper, a Grille, and I think that's it... I already took care of the sag it had... torsion bar had popped out when the previous owner hit another car.... any ways, it's in my garage now, and I am currently tinkering with things as we speak! go me!!! haha
