New member here, hate to have a dumb question for first post, but here I go anyway. I have a 1987 Sami Special Addition with 130,000 original miles. Body is in great shape, no dents or rust I would rate it 8.5 out of 10. Paint is original and it shows. Engine is original, tired-but always starts. Interior bad, but dash has no cracks, Besttop is shot along with tires. Have nice looking aftermarket brush guard and Calmini removable towbar. Any ideas on how much this rig would be worth (I live in Washington State). I know used car value is about nil, not sure if there would be some collector value to it. I have owned it since 1998 and I love it, but it has sat for about a year due to bad tires and poor front end alignment. I am trying to decide whether to sell it, or to put a few $$$ in it and start driving it again. I am not sure if I ever could really sell it, but not sure if it is worth the money to get it squared away. Thanks for the input.

Eric is probably the best person to ask about the value of your SE

The appeal of the Special Edition was the custom interior that matched the exterior paint and stripes. If the interior is bad, what you have is a plain old Samurai, since it would be unlikely that you could junkyard a decent interior for it.
I would be interested if it weren't on the wrong end of the continent...
Your best bet would be to put it back on the road.

I hadn't started it up in probably 6 months, I pumped the gas about 10 times and it started right up. That little sewing machine engine has always been reliable. Anyways, I cleaned it up, put insurance and liscensing back on it and am going to start driving it a bit while i work on some of the upgrades. After starting it up and getting in, I realized there was no way I could sell it. Thanks for the input.
