Post by: ridgerat4x4 on August 04, 2010, 07:53:27 PM
H i got a 98 2 door tracker and a 99 gv thought about taking the springs out of the gv and putting under the tracker cause its to soft for my likingand i heard it netted about 2 inchs of front lift but the ? is can you use the struts from the gv and are they any longer travel the the factory tracker struts just wondering      thanks for you time

Same struts on both actually, so you don't gain anything.  I run the GV springs up front and put a 1" spacer to give me a bit more down travel.  It rides a bit stiff, but levels out perfectly with the 1" spacer in the back.
