Hey dudes! this is what I did yesterday.Hope you like.
Simon.

Nice work, extended bumpstops can prevent damage to the shocks and help the springs last longer :) :)
-
That looks good! When I switched out the springs on Project Trouble I ended up angling the lower spring back a bit to help get rid of that arch. Might not be a bad idea if your down there welding anyway.

Looks good, How much travel do you have now?
When I did the Hagen overotation to my rear axle, I made up some extended bump stops to work with the FOA coils I'm using. Eventually I removed and sold 'em, and am using the airbags for my airlift system as bumpstops. Works great as a nice soft bumpstop and I can still air up for heavy loads and towing. I ended up getting a 3" longer set of bags than stock that fit perfectly with the 4" longer lift coils. I think I'm going to experiment with the shorter bags from the original kit in the front when I finally tear it down for maintenence. I bet they will work just as well up there, and provide a bit of extra spring rate to help out sagging Calmini coils. Air lifting? Hmmmmmm...

Hi guys! sorry for the delay,I was so busy,I'm running around like a chicken with no head  thanks for your compliment.
this setup will give me 2 inches more down travel, extensions are 4 inches,I used 1/8 plumbing pipe,I have more pics if
any are interrested.I thought of rotating the axle in my future mods, but I'm concerned about vibration afterwards,I imagine
I will have to have a drive shaft custom bilt with a double joint at the t-case,but the thing is,my output shaft hase 16 splines
so the sye kit wont work,so I will have to make one somehow, anyway maby next year.Did not test the suspension yet,I have
a whole weekend comming soon hope it works well.

Ah yes that arch, well, that pic is at complete extension and when the veh is on it's wheels they get just about perfectly
straight.I gess I'l just try it and wait and see.
Got to go be back later,Thanks guys.

Here are a few more pics.

And another few.

Hi Smife! I moved the lower shock mounts exactly 2 inches higher,I have a four door so a 2 door should be a bit less due to u-joint angle, the bumpstops are 4 inches because my calmini suspension is tweeked to 4 inches. The result is a very obvious
increase in susp. down travel.

Thanks Camokick ;)
