Lightning I think it was, but there were some problems and
difficulties with the kit, not to mention the engine is too heavy
and too big for the engine bay

The Chevy V6 is too heavy and wide. It fits a Samurai OK because the Sam has leaf springs and a solid axle. But the Tracker has coil towers that narrow the engine bay. If you look closely at the Lightning photos, you'll see that the coil towers are empty. They're likely using some kind of axle kludge that'll cost you another $5000. Just guessing, of course. I could be totally wrong . . .

Yes - the coil towers are empty - but if you click the link for the 2dr Tracker (the red one at the top) - one of the sidebar pictures shows the front underside, with what looks like the OEM axle, along with a Calmini kit, which is mentioned in the write up.

Strut towers appear empty, but if you look reeaal close at the overhead view of the 2-door one you can just see the top of the strut peakin out. They're lower down cause of the body lift. I've heard the 4.3 will only fit with 3" of body lift.
