Title: '01 Jimny in Mongol Rally
Post by: esh on August 11, 2010, 03:24:51 PM
Kind of an oddball run you guys might like.  The passenger is Scott Brady of Overland Journal.  He and a friend are taking a 2001 Suzuki Jimny across Europe to Mongolia for the rally and donating the zuki to a family there.

You should check out 'Mongol Rally - Three Weeks into the Unknown'.  It's about two guys that decide to run the rally in an SJ-410 tin top with as little planning as possible to keep it an adventure.  Half the book is about bribing guards and being places they shouldn't.  It's a great read.
