I have a 1993 sidekick and a 1995 sidekick, the 95 engine runs better. so i want to put the 95 engine in the 93. the sidekicks both have 16v engines and 5 speed manual trannys. and i was wondering if the 95 engine would just bolt on to the 93 without any problems.

It's the same engine, but make sure the engine that is better,
will be better in the other truck, and that the reason isn't the
EFI system or a sensor that is making it run bad, that would be a
lot of work, and you might get a big disappointment when you
are finished

The one of the other reasons i want to swap engines is the 95 engine has 15 more hp than the 93.

If you are swapping a 16V engine into an 8V location, you will need
to swap over the computer and all the wiring harness or it won't work

Luckly their both 16 valve. So I'm assumeing the motor mounts and transmission bolt patterns are the same.

No it doesn't. At least not from the factory. All 1.6 16V engines were rated at 95 HP from the factory. The 1.6 8V engines were rated at 80HP, so that is probably where you are getting the 15 HP more from.

You may have to swap sensors to make the computer happy
