Title: Walker Valley 08-15-2010

Went up to Walker Valley with zuk88 from Crawlers Northwest (my club) along with TrackJD and some of his buddies.  Sadly Jeff's Tracker was taken out early with a bad clutch but we still ended up with my SJ-410, 2 Samurai's, a 2 door Cherokee and something that still had a stock hood.

It was a beautiful day out for wheeling, sun was shining and the trails were relatively clear.  Two of the non-local rigs managed to make it up the right side of the Expressway via the far right path, and made it look easy enough that I might have to give it a try next time.  Next up was the new proving grounds, which proved I am not quite willing to risk a roll over trying to climb up the wedge, as I was at the gas it and make it or break it spot and decided reverse was a good choice.  It's a lot taller then last time I saw it and one of the other Samurai's proved I shouldn't feel bad about my few attempts not allowing me to pop over.

A nice lunch in the shade, no broken parts and a great group of wheelers made it solid wheeling trip.  Look for some high def video from before my GoPro ran out of juice and some low def video from my digital camera soon.
