Anybody have a TPS for a 98 sidekick with a 1600, 16v motor that they would like to sell?
I believe the Standard parts number is TH392.
Thanks,

I think I have one around here. Got a pic of it?

I can't manage to get a picture of it off of the internet. If you have a 96-98 sidekick or a 96 x-90 with the 16v 1600, it should work. It has four terminals that you plug into. Most of the other ones have three. It should either be part # th392 or w0133-1816235

I just have some parts I pulled of some 16V engines...can't remember what years they were. I will look later tomorrow and see if I can see a part number on it.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I haven't had time to look for it. I will definitely do it tomorrow and let you know.
Thanks for your patience.

Ok, here is what I found. The one on the right is from a 96 (which is when they supposedly changed the TPS, but I know that particular one is the same as the pre-96 16V TPS).
The one on the left may be the one you are looking for...I can't remember what it came off of. Ok, I just remembered I had a 97 16V motor here and I looked at it and the TPS is the same as the one on the left in my pics. So I am guessing it is the same as your 98.
They both take the same plug. They both have 4 pins. All 16V TPS's that I have ever seen have all had 4 pins in them....not sure what TPS you have seen that only has 3...even the 8V TPS's have 4 pins.
Let me know if either of these look like the one you need.

Funny, I just finally got time to take a picture of mine (on vehicle). I believe that the 96-98 TPS is the same on the 16v 1600s. The 3 prong one I was speaking of is for the 1800cc motors, from what i have seen on the internet.

The one on the left, in my pics, is the one that matches yours.
From what I have seen, the 96 1.6s use the older style TPS. The 97 and 98s use the flatter type.
I'll send you a PM.
