Title: kick on a tow dolly questions
Post by: mike5721947 on August 23, 2010, 06:58:14 AM
ok im moving in a week 900km back out to bc. im driving a uhaul truck and tow dolly out with my kick on the back. im wondering whats going to be my best way of doing this. is pulling the drive shaft and strapping it up to the frame that difficult or should i just leave it in and stop every couple hundred km to run the truck? i just dont want to lose the shaft on the highway...

any tips and tricks for loading and driving with the tow dolly?

Strap the back wheels to the tow dolly and unlock your hubs,
nothing will turn that way, totally safe

ive read up on that way and its saying to unlock the steering and clamp it straight. i dont have the equipment needed to strap the steering wheel properly.

I flat tow with bungee cords holding the steering wheel straight,
should work fine for you too
