Title: tire on stock rim

I am not to familiar with tires and rims but i know there is some fluctuation with them i want to know if i can fit LT235/75R15/C bf goodrich MUD TERRAINS KM2 on stock rims.  I found a web site that suggests 6-7 in rims but i think the stock rims are 5.5in.  Does anyone know if these will fit?  Will this do damage to the tire if it does fit?  I am looking to save money and not have to buy rims if i don't have to.  Any help would be great thanks

Did that for many years, as long as you find a shop that will put them on and not complain
