My alt is seized. I have been trying to get it out (discovered the second pivot point bolt after getting the one out, but not sure how to access it. Took out the top bolt, but need to get that second one.
Looking at things, there is not much room to get it out once it is detached. So how do I do it? Any help suggestions would be appreciated.

There are actually 3 bolts you have to take out (one on top...the adjuster, and 2 on the bracket...one forward facing, one rearward facing). They can be hard to get to, especially the rear one on the bottom. I usually take the charcoal canister off, to get me more room to access the rear bolt. Sometimes it is easier to access them from laying under the vehicle too.

The bottom has a pivot bolt in it, need a wrench and a socket to remove it

I have two of the three out. That third one is being a bear to get to. I will hit it with some more PB Blaster and try again another day. I was working from the bottom, but the from diff gets in the way along with some of the steering stuff. I will try moving the canister and see if I can get it.

Skinny wrench.. You'll probably wind up turning the nut a flat at a time. It's a right PIA to do.
Cheers
