I'll be the first to tell you that I was never into the NEW car market because of high sticker prices and depriciation. But with all the bonus cash and incentives out there you can get a new car for LESS than some used cars.
For example my wife and I went to the Chevy dealer looking for a used SUV. It had to be 4x4 4-dr and V-6. We test drove a 2002 GMC Jimmy fully loaded and it seemed perfect, even the price seemed right.
Then I looked over at the New car lot and saw a fully loaded LT (TOP OF THE LINE) Tracker with 4x4, and power everything. Get this, the price was $23000. After Chevy loyalty cash for trading in another Chevy vehicle, military bonus cash and $2000 down It was just over $15000 out the door FOR A NEW V6 4X4 TRACKER LT FULLY LOADED. The Jimmy was WAY MORE and used.
I'm not saying go out and break the bank, but it's worth checking out. ;)

WOW!!! That's better than the deals they had a year ago when we looked at a brand new 03, it was a 4 and a stick, and it was more than yours, even with all the rebates, that's why we bought a used 2000, which we got for a good price, only 9700 out the door with tax and tags. good luck with you new Tracker, it's the last year for them. ;D

Well I took delivery of my new Tracker today. Man!, that V6 feels so good!
Me and the sales manager got into it until I said the magic word, JAG. Those in the military or that watch CBS know what I mean.
I may not be the smartest person in the world but I'm not stupid either!
