Title: ABS modual defective

I i am new here,i have a xl7 2002 2.7 runs great with 224000K, the brakes are new on all 4 but the abs go on at the last 2feet before i stop, what could be the problem all sensors were checked and are fine by susuki dealer they said the abs modual was defective its $2600 to repaire can i have the abs disconected and run on coventenal brakes thax.

I'm guessing that what you are saying is the ABS kicks on and prevents the wheels
from locking up 2 feet before you come to a complete stop.

I had this problem from a bent axle stub on a Chevrolet Cavalier, but just 1 rear wheel
was causing the problem, replaced it and all good.

The problem was the wheel was trying to lock and slide at low speeds, triggering the
ABS system to engage and vent pressure causing the wheel to not lockup, but then
catch and lock on the next revolution before I stopped
