Well after a few weeks of searching I found a pretty sweet lil Sammy... This all started after my youngest wanted to drive my Vit. Sadly enough she loved it (and I her) so I traded her my Vit for her Saturn. Woo Hoo.... NOT!

But all things can have a happy ending as last Saturday I purchased an 87 Sammy. It has a nice little 3" lift, full body interior roll cage, a good set of 5 Maxis Buckshot Mudders on new black rims. A nice late model 1.6 4 cyl and I added my 8,000 winch.

Later this week a set of Corvette bucket seat go in and I will be making a 3" box steel bumper for the for the front. Overall I am pretty pleased with my find.

Now if anybody has a hankerin for a nice Saturn SC2 coupe y'all just let me know... I kin set ya up in a New York Minute.....

 Tux...
-
Sounds like a good Sami... You could always use the Saturn as an obstacle for the Sami to climb...

I like it.  but holy hell that is one serious front bumper!  Do you plan on using the Samurai as a battering ram for bank robberies???  :P
-
Thats what happens when you work in a machine shop.....  I am going to weld 2 15" 1 1/2  box tubes on the top corners Friday. That way iIwill be able to pull out those in distress....

It looks big now but when I get 9.5 x 35 TSL Swampers on it I think it will look about right. If not I will take a plasma cutter and trim a few inches off of the bottom side.

 All in due time........                                         Tux...
-
Sounds like a plan.  We put 6" channel on the front of our CJ-5 and it looked good in proportion to the jeep and 35's...a bigger tire may help yours look great!  Depending on how soon you get those new tires, I may want your old ones if you don't put them on the Vitara ::)

-
				I won't have a need for them. They are 9.5 x 30 x 15 Maxxis buckshot Mudders.
The Vit is now my daughters. She asked me if she could have it and in one of my weakest moments I replied .... "yes". Besides who could refuse a never a minutes trouble great kid?

Besides it has almost new Big O Mud XT's on it. (similar to BFG AT radials)

It may be a bit though.... much to do yet.

Looks like tonight I better do the Clicky Fix..... Damn thing has not started 3 different times now.  I checked the battery and the alternator. Everything checked out fine. So I suppose I need to do this. I bought 1 a few weeks ago and have it laying on the workbench.

CRAP!!! But at least it is in the driveway!  ;D                               Tux...
