I'm running 1.5" on my X-90 and have had no troubles with my 1000 miles a week commute.

First, welcome to the bbs :)

When I looked at spacers, I compared the costs vs. the costs of new offset wheels. For $39 per wheel, you can get a 2" or 2.5" offset wheel from 4-Wheel Parts. That is virtually the same cost as a set of spacers. The spacer to me is an excessive part that may fail. Just my .02. 8)

Good point. I went with the spacers because I wanted to stay with the factory alum. rims, or buy new alum. rims. The spacers were alot cheaper than replacing the Alum. Rims. But if you are going steel, definately look at the rim cost.
