Title: DIY body lift?

I want to do about an inch and a half body lift thinking. 1 3/8 steel square tubing and rubber bushingsbut need to know exactly what I will need and where to get the supplies bolts and lengths how much steel tubing square of course what size bolts etc. Going either friday or saturday to get this stuff THANK YOU

crawl under your rig, count all the body mounting points, and that's how many pcs of square stock u will need. make sure you get it long enough to count for cutting and what not. just think, if I have 12 points to mount and want them 2" in length, I would need aprox. 26" of square stock. bolts would need to be 2" longer than stock, what ever that is... just pull one and measure. if they are 1.5" long, and u want to go 1.5" of lift, that's 3" you will need, imo, to play it safe I would go with 4 or 4.5" long on the bolts, as far as grade, they don't need to be any grade 8 bolts, it's just a body, and with all the mounting points, I would bet that just your el-cheap-o bolts would work. Just my .02
