Title: Vaccum hose from airbox goes?
Post by: bush buster on September 13, 2010, 07:33:48 PM
This vaccum hose comes from my airbox down to the frame and along the frame towards the gas tank area and...that's where it's popped off.  I can't figure out where it's supposed to go but I know it shouldn't be sucking air from where it is now. Anyone know where it should attach? Also I have better performance now? ??? hmm

My money is on Item 32.

This one?

It's the vent line from the Evap Canister / Purge system. It just resides in that cover section to be protected and "vent".

The OTHER end attaches here...

No it's not that one. Although I'm glad you posted those photos because it turns out I don't have one of those either!
It's this one:

The diagram seems to show it connecting to something on top of the gas tank so I'll take another look tommorow. Maybe the tank will have to come off.
