Has anyone used a lock rite locker without the coupler in a track kick?
-
Ya, all the lockers I've installed have used side gears instead of
couplers, if you don't have broken sidegears, use them

i did this about 3 years ago.
the diff. had 150000 miles on it(i believe) but the gears looked fine.
i reused the dowels, as the ones in the kit were not drilled for the pins.
i have had no problems.
lockrite recommended 140w gear oil, so i followed their advise.
replaced the outer axle seals also- kinda pia, but you're in there- might consider.
