I just brought my first Sami, its a 92 with a 1.3 FI. The temp gauge and speedo do not work and I thought I would Pull the cluster as I only seen 2 phillips screws under it and hope that might release it and let me take a peep but alas that was not to be so. Anyone have the secret to getting the cluster out before I bust something. Thanks c

speedo is a cable that goes straight from the cluster to the t-case (atleast in mine), thats an easy fix you can reach behind the cluster and pull old on out and stickin the new one in.

there are two bolts holding up the steering column just take those out and lower the column abit and then take an allen wrench and take out the small bolt holding the instrument cluster cover and take the cover off and then it should come out.

I tried and could not get my hand up behind it for all the stuff back there,I will try lowering the column this morning. thanks c

Follow up on this is there are 2 screws under the cluster but there are 2 above it on top of the dash that are flush mounted and hard to see, after droping the column and takeing out all 4 screws it popped right out. thanks c

also you got a good looking sammie there.

Thanks,Im havin alot of fun with mine but dont plan on off road. I guess from what I have read about lockers it gives you the ability to make both rear tires turn together for traction. Good luck with your project. c

There is also a good forum post about lockers over at http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/technical-discussion-beginner-repair/merged-'lockers-the-best-but-most-'-and-'mini-spool-vs-locker-'/ (http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/technical-discussion-beginner-repair/merged-'lockers-the-best-but-most-'-and-'mini-spool-vs-locker-'/) including the different types and some of the positives and negatives of the different types.
