i was wondering if anyone had a picture of either the steering shaft with the slip portion in it or w.o so i can determine what i have BEFORE i take my car apart to do the BL
thanks guys =)

there are some nylon plugs in the slider,if you drill them out you may get the slider to move but i warmed the slider with a blowtorch and the nylon melted out and left the slider free. ;D

see i dont know how to tell if i have those nylon things... i look at the shaft but i cant really tell much other then its black and dirty lol

Look at the lower part of the stearing shaft where it conects to the stearing box.
If it's long and skinny, it will extend.
If it looks like a solid spring then it won't and you will have to make a spacer. Or go to the junk yard and get one that will extend.

ok mine is smaller in diamiter at the firewall then at the drive shaft..it looks like tubing inside of bigger tubing (make any sense at all? i just got off work forgive me lol)
i will take a pic and try and upload it to explosivos site today

if its the tube inside a tube shaft then it has the nylon fill.does it look like a flattened tube??the nylon plugs are in the flat bit.wire brush the shaft as they my be painted over.

theres no flat spot on it...and it doesnt look like theres any indentations either..this is really confusing me lol
