Not sure about the thrust washers. My truck only had one on each side.

Are you running the Lockrite that uses the stock side gears?

Perhaps your passenger side gear is worn out and isn’t meshing properly with the coupler.  ???

i checked the gearts like it said on the install booklet. it looked to be in good condition. i am running the stock gears. i don't think that is the problem. i am going to have to wait till next week to pull it part so until then i will be trying to get some ideas. i just bought a house so it is rquiring ALL of my time right now. any more suggestions.

if you had 2 thrusts in each side then you need 2 thusts each side!the lockright utilises your origional couplers and thrusts,if it needed 2 thrusts as standard then you need 2 thusts with the locker. ;)
