I'm wondering if anyone out knows or knows a source that would know if the A43DE/A44DE (03-72LE) auto transmission has an electronic or hydraulic 1st gear lock-up control on the torque converter. If it is electronic I would have any easy/cheap way to gain compression braking on steep downhill descents off-road.
