1ps is 1 metric horsepower, which equals 0.986 horsepower.

So you're looking at 63 horsepower.

That sounds about right. I think ps is the abbreviation for the German word for horsepower? There a a few different standards for measuring hp but they don't vary a lot (except for the old RAC rating based on stroke - what a daft idea that was ::))

What do you want to do with the Alto Works engine?  Put a turbo and intercooler in it?! :D

Alto Works RS-R, RS-X 87-88's already are turbo and intercooled. now I just need to find one. I'm hoping it'll be easier to find then a turbo/intercooled Jimny engine .

To do what with?  Put it in a Zuk 4x4? ???

As I recall a 1300 Sammi is 63bhp and I suspect a lot lower down the rev rage too. A Sammi engine is certainly a lot less complex.

yup.  they are similar to the F5A engine in a JA71 Jimny ( I believe) except they are DOHC and have an intercooler.
